Michael Wheaton, PhD

Michael Wheaton, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Barnard College. His research interests focus on the psychopathology and treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and OCD-related disorders, with a particular emphasis on behavioral therapy.  He holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to coming to Barnard Dr. Wheaton was a postdoctoral clinical researcher in the Anxiety Disorders Clinic at the New York State Psychiatric Institute. He is licensed as a psychologist in New York State.
