Helen is a Clinical Social Worker with 19 years of experience working in Community Mental Health and related settings. Her focus has always been on the treatment of multiply disordered, severe and chronic, difficult to treat clients, with histories of extensive trauma and high levels of current psycho-social stressors. Areas of special interest include Child-Parent psychotherapy, bilingual psychotherapy, and group treatment.

An experienced supervisor and Field Instructor, Helen joined the Mental Health program at Union Settlement Association in December, 2013. She completed the DBT Intensive in January, 2015, at Columbia School of Social Work.
