Kim Vu received her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from Alliant International University, Los Angeles in 2010. During her studies, she completed 3 year-long training programs at an adult male prison, a private inpatient psychiatric hospital, and a college counseling center. She moved to NYC after completing her studies and initially worked for 2 years in a private group practice treating patients suffering from physical and mental trauma. For the past 2 years she has been employed as a Clinical Supervisor on Rikers Island Correctional Facility. This population is her passion and she enjoys each day she is there.
