Z. Pei, invited talk in the NSF-Funded Edge AI Summer Program for high school teachers and undergraduate students from Alabama, North Dakota, and Arkansas, “How Computers Really Work: From Apps to Transistors, Low-Power High-Performance Design Research and Industrial EDA Practice,” online presentation. (June 11, 2026).

Delivered an invited educational talk introducing the computing stack from applications to transistor-level hardware implementation. Drawing on experiences from energy-efficient computing systems and AI research projects and industrial EDA practice, the talk explored modern chip design methodologies and emerging research directions in low-power, high-performance, reliable, and sustainable computing systems.
