November 21, 2014 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

NYU’s Gallatin School and Prison Education Program~ Center for NuLeadership on Urban Solutions ~ Human Right Project at the Urban Justice Center ~ Bertha Justice Institute ~ Incarceration to Education Coalition – Citizens Against Recidivism and executive producers Bryonn Bain and Kyung Ji Rhee invite you to a conversation on the impact of prisons around the world

The first annual International Day of Action & Dialogue for Prison Activism will be a dialogue with cities around the world about prison activism and reform.

Join us for a simulcast “tele-concert” and participate in a dialogue on prison activism linking NYC to half a dozen cities around the country and internationally!

Each city will discuss critical issues, innovative work and invaluable lessons from local prison-related activism.

Help create a space for prison activists and artists to share stories, strategies & solutions for a “Human Justice” based prison activism!

There will be a brief reception in the lobby beginning at 11am with refreshments, food and live music. The main event will begin in the theater at noon and end around 3 pm.
