Education

The Center for Justice works to increase access to education for currently and formerly incarcerated students as well as expand educational opportunities for students and faculty at Columbia and beyond to learn about issues of incarceration and justice.  The Center serves as a catalyst for curriculum development both within individual schools and disciplines, and through interdisciplinary courses and hosts a wide array of public programming throughout the year including our annual Beyond the Bars Conference.

Rikers Education Program
