Professor Ayten Gündoğdu, assistant professor of political science at Barnard, will present on her new book Rightlessness in an Age of Rights, which offers new readings of Hannah Arendt’s political theory in order to examine the challenging human rights issues arising in thecontext of immigration detention, deportation, refugee encampment, and struggles for regularization.
