Summit Overview:
With Americans of all political backgrounds beginning to question our failing prison system, the moment is ripe to capture the public imagination with a bold vision for reform. The Bipartisan Summit on Criminal Justice Reform will unite leaders to discuss, plan, and launch a new movement.
The day-long summit will bring bipartisan voices from policy, media, law enforcement, Hollywood, tech, academia and impacted communities to popularize support for reforms while also having comprehensive discussions about the policies, replicable models and data-driven solutions needed to achieve systemic changes.
Topics will include:
- State Sentencing Reform and Alternatives to Incarceration
- Federal Justice Reform
- Law Enforcement and Prosecution
- Juvenile Justice
- Human, Economic and Community Impacts of Incarceration
- Barriers to Re-entry and Eliminating Collateral Consequences
- Millennial Generation Leadership on Justice Reform
- Solitary Confinement, Mental Health and Rehabilitation

- 9:00 – 9:30 a.m. – Summit Opening
- 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. – Morning Dialogues
- 11:00 – 12:00 p.m. – Breakout Sessions
- 12:15 – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch with Guest Speakers
- 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. – Breakout Sessions
- 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Afternoon Dialogues
- 4:00 – 4:30 p.m. – Closing
