Ride for Rights Bike-A-Thon
May 3, 2014 @ 10:30 am - 3:00 pm

On Saturday May 3rd, 2014 from 10:30am to 3:00pm – the Youth Advisory Board (our semester-long program for youth ages 14 to 18 who have an incarcerated parent) will host their second annual RIDE FOR RIGHTS bike-a-thon to raise awareness about the rights and experiences of children with incarcerated parents. Details are attached.
Please come on out with your bike and ride around Prospect Park for a good cause and lots of fun!
Please also share this event and encourage people who can’t come out, to sponsor a young person who will be riding. We are also selling YAB (very cool, youth-designed) t-shirts for $20 if you or others would like one. All proceeds go to YAB programming this year and next, with a portion of the funds raised being donated to a cause the YAB are choosing and that is important to them. The bike-a-thon is made possible thanks to support from the Pinkerton Foundation.
