Meeting on December 15, 2019

This event co-organized by Polyfold and Comparing Domains of Improvisation at Columbia University aims to create a platform to explore improvisational practices and facilitate conversations around them.

To achieve this aim the event will consist of brief presentations, group improvisations, and discussions by the attendees. This event is open to improvisers, and scholars thinking about improvisation, of all disciplines, who would like to further their practice and understanding of improvisation, as well as explore new collaborations. 

All attendees are welcome, and encouraged, to participate directly in the event. We have a PA, 1 Grand Piano, 1 Drumset, Congas, 1 Vibraphone, 1 Marimba, Guitar and Bass Amps (limited amount); if you need anything else in order to participate please bring it with you and/or contact the organizers.
