The Columbia University Seminar in Literary Theory will be meeting on Thursday, April 17th, from 7:15 to 9:00 p.m. in Faculty House. We will discuss Eleanor Johnson’s attached paper, “There’s Something about Mary: Feeling God in Time, Language, and the Social World.” The respondent will be Jean Howard.
The group will have dinner at the nearby Amsterdam Cafe at 6:00. Although there’s no need to reserve a spot for the talk, please email Mary Grace Albanese ([email protected]) if you would like to come to dinner; and please note that attendees are responsible for the cost of dinner.
