School of Law

Priority for enrollment in our elementary- and intermediate-level courses is given to undergraduate students and graduate students (School of International and Public Affairs and the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences) who need these courses to fulfill degree requirements.

If seats are available, School of Law students must complete the following procedures:

  1. Take the online placement test: click here for instructions for taking the exam and click here to take the exam
  2. Save a screen capture of your results and submit them to your instructor on the first day of class.
  3. Keep perfect attendance (no absences) during the Change of Program period.
  4. Download the University’s Registration Adjustment Form (click here to download)
  5. Bring a copy of the Registration Adjustment Form to the instructor to obtain her/his approval.
    **NOTE: Staff in the Department of Latin American and Iberian Cultures cannot sign a Registration Adjustment Form on behalf of an instructor.
  6. Obtain the instructor’s signature / approval
  7. Submit the signed Registration Adjustment form to Registration Services in the School of Law
