What is PrEP?

(Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis)

PrEP is a daily medication for people who don’t have HIV that helps prevent HIV infection. The daily pill contains two medications that are also used to treat HIV. As long as you are taking the pill every day, PrEP can prevent HIV from starting an infection in your body even if you exposed through sex or injection drug use. PrEP is also known by its brand name, Truvada.

Where can I get PrEP?

You can get PrEP at the following locations. All genders and sexual orientations are welcome. No insurance is necessary.
