“Navigating the medical school process can be difficult, but there are specific resources on campus to help you in this endeavor. Make an appointment to see your pre-medical and academic advisors at least twice a month. Bring a list of questions about any information that you may need answered such as how to apply to medical school, availability of financial aid, and the ideal GPA/MCAT score among others. In addition, do not hesitate to see someone from the Center for Career Advising. They can help you get that important volunteer or internship position that you need before attending medical school by guiding your resume/CV and personal statement writing process. It’s a long road to medical school, but you do not have to make that journey alone.”- Aury
