“Make sure that your life is balanced and healthy. Often times, because of the stress associated with being a pre-medical student, we neglect to take care of the other facets of our lives. This includes physical, mental, and emotional health as well as our relationships with others. Although it may not seem as an impediment at first, neglecting these aspects of our lives can lead to unwanted consequences in the future.  Eat balanced meals, take a break from the books whenever you can, join interesting extracurricular activities, and spend lots of time with friends. Living a balanced life but will not only keep you healthy, but will also make your life fun and exciting!”- Doreen
