Gabriel Prokofiev is a London-based composer, DJ and producer. A significant voice in contemporary classical music, Gabriel combines elements of symphonic composition, film scores, dance, opera and electronic music to both embrace and challenge western classical traditions.
In this talk, Gabriel will reflect on the legacy of Sergei Prokofiev (his grandfather) in the evolution of the classical canon, and help us imagine its continued place in twenty-first century music.
