ZOE STANTON-SAVITZ (she/they) is a third-year MFA Playwright at Columbia University and a freelance sound designer based in NYC. Her plays include Agatha (Lakewood Playhouse New Voices Festival 2025 / Sarah Lawrence College 2022), Selkie Woman (Columbia 2025), Rachel Berry Saved My Life (Columbia 2024), Twice Gone (semi-finalist at 47th Bay Area Playwright’s Festival, Sarah Lawrence College 2021), and Pennies for Forgotten Words (La Mama Manifestation Reading Festival 2022). She was the winner of the David Lindsay-Abaire award for excellence in playwriting at Sarah Lawrence College. As a sound designer, she has worked on more than thirty productions and has self-produced three radio plays. Recent sound design credits include: The Skriker, The Bakkhai, The Bog Queen, Butterflies, Three Sisters, and The Seagull (Columbia), Coriolanus (Nocturne Theatre) Recruiting Tomorrow’s Army Today! (The Tank) Spew’s Little Baby (Dyke Theatre Co./Limefest at The Tank), The Munchies (Darkfest at The Tank), and Con (Spin Cycle/JCS). She has worked at Columbia’s Lenfest Center for Performing Arts and Schapiro Theatre as well as San Francisco Shakespeare Festival, Gloucester Stage Company, Tribeca Festival, La Mama Umbria International, and American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
