Have you heard about our technology pitch competition? You know, New Media Task Force‘s second annual multi-sector, multi-university technology ideation event? Well, you have now…which is perfect, because now is the time to get involved!
The Technology for Development Pitch Competition, or #PitchTech4Dev for short, encourages current university students from diverse backgrounds to explore the development field through technology. We are calling for innovative mobile, web, or other technology ideas that seek to address a specific need, whether political, economic, or social. Participants will present to a panel of industry judges and compete to win hundreds of dollars in CASH PRIZES.

Best of all, you do not need a tech background to apply! A panel of judges will assess ideas based on uniqueness, significance, applicability and scalability. Proposals can be either domestic or international in focus.
The application is simple and only requires an application form (due October 20th) and an executive summary (due October 25); you can further develop your idea (upon selection) for the competition, which will be held on November 14.
