The Reading the Bible in History reading group, now in its second year, considers contextual readings and cultural uses of the Bible in different times and places. All graduate students and faculty are welcome to participate in this interdisciplinary community and discussion!
The first meeting of this year will be led by Roger Wieck, Curator of Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts at the Morgan Library and Museum, on next Wednesday, September 21, from 5:30-7:00 in Room 626 at Van Pelt Library. We will be discussing the relationship between medieval Books of Hours and the Bible.
If you would like to be added to the list-serv, please let us know by emailing Drew ([email protected]) or Philip ([email protected]).
