A mainstay of the Music Before 1800’s series, Pomerium anticipates its 40th anniversary year, drawing on sacred works from its first concert in 1973 at St. Paul’s Chapel, Columbia University, to a recent performance in 2010. Pomerium’s retrospective covers the Medieval and Renaissance gamut from Machaut to Byrd, offering the audience exquisite renditions of its favorite repertory.
