Please join us for a lecture by Dr. Ami Ayalon (Professor Emeritus at Tel Aviv University), on the advent of printing in Arab countries during the 19th century which assumed mass proportions during the last century of Ottoman rule.
The talk is entitled “Publishers, Readers, Middlemen: the Advent of Middle East Printing.” Dr. Ayalon’s talk will focus on the early phase of that practice.
