New York Medieval Liturgy Group: John Baldovin, S.J and Elizabeth Parker

The next meeting of the New York Medieval Liturgy Group will take place on Sunday, April 27 from 5-7 pm in the 21st Street Room of General Theological Seminary (located at 440 West 21st Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). There will be two speakers: John Baldovin, S.J. (Boston College, currently visiting at Fordham University) will discuss his recent work on processions, and Elizabeth Parker (Fordham University, emerita) will present “A liturgical reading of Antelami’s Deposition in Parma.”  For a copy of Baldovin’s article on processions (which we will discuss at the meeting) and to RSVP, please email Susan Boynton ([email protected]).
