Princeton University Department of Spanish and Portuguese  Languages and Cultures presents Williams Childers on “Fiction and Fraud: Las guerras civiles de Granada as a Blueprint for Morisco Genealogical Falsification.”

William Childers is Associate Professor of Spanish at Brooklyn College and the CUNY Graduate Center. He is the author of Transnational Cervantes (University of Toronto Press, 2006), winner of the MLA’s Katherine Singer Kovacs prize, as well as numerous scholarly articles on early modern Spanish literature and culture. His current b0ok project is Morisco Questions: Power, Culture, and Race in Castille, 1570-1610.
