Interested in study abroad in Venice this summer?
The Department of Art History and Archaeology and the Department of Italian offer a six week summer program based at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. The program uses an interdisciplinary approach to understanding Italian culture through study of its language, literature, art history, and architecture and the opportunity to gain a deeper appreciation of the rich Venetian culture, traditions and history.
The program is open to qualified undergraduate and graduate students who have studied at least one year of Italian. A background in art history is not required. Students with one year of Italian enroll in an intensive intermediate Italian course designed to cover a full year of
Italian and an art history course. Students with two or more years of Italian enroll in one of three tracks that offer the following courses:
art history and conservation project, Italian literature and culture, or art history and Italian literature and culture.
Please join us for an information session where you can meet the faculty directors and past participants!
