MaRGIN is very lucky to be presenting two great talks this Thursday evening, March 29th, at 6 PM.
Both will take place in the Casa Italiana Library on the 2nd floor of 24 West 12th Street.
Mark Galeotti, a clinical professor and academic chair from the SCPS center for Global Affairs will be giving a talk entitled:
“Paths of Wickedness and Crime: The Underworld of the Renaissance Italian City’ concerning whether we can trace the origins of organized criminality in Renaissance Italian cities.
Elizabeth WIlliams, a graduate student at the IFA will also be presenting a paper entitled “Gendering Byzantine Jewelry.”
