The Italian Specialization at the Graduate Center (CUNY) is happy to invite you to a lecture by Professor Chris Celenza (Johns Hopkins University) held on Friday, October 30 2015 , 4.30 pm at the Graduate Center – Room 6495: “Language and Power: Lorenzo Valla and the Latin Language in the Italian Renaissance”.
The event is co-sponsored by the Comparative Literature Department at the Graduate Center, the Center of Humanities at the Graduate Center, the Renaissance Studies Certificate Program at the Graduate Center, the Renaissance Society of America, the Department of Romance Languages at Hunter College and the NYU Italian Studies Department.
