The Columbia University Seminar in the Renaissance will meet again on Tuesday, November 13, at 7:30 PM in the Columbia Faculty House. We will hear a paper by Michael Stolberg, Columbia / Würzburg, entitled “Physicians at the Bedside: Professional Self-fashioning and Ordinary Practice in Sixteenth-Century Medicine.”
The dinner will begin at 6:30. Payment for dinner ($25) is cash or check only. The Faculty House bar will be closed. Please make sure to notify our Rapporteur by the Thursday before the meeting if you plan to attend and, especially, if you plan to dine with us (please contact Ivan Lupic at [email protected] or 646-387-2407; text messages and voice mail are also acceptable). There is no need to contact the Rapporteur if you do not plan to attend.
