Adrian Noble, acclaimed theatre director, will talk about his past work, including his years as the artistic director at the Royal Shakespeare Company (1990-2003), as well as his most recent engagement as the director of Verdi’s Macbeth at The Met Opera this past fall. Additionally, Noble will discuss how to bring a Shakespearean text alive through wordplay, character-building and structure as well as the medium of opera for Shakespeare’s plays.

Noble is the Mellon Visiting Artist and Thinker at the School of the Arts this Fall. More→
