Columbia – Medieval Colloquium Workshop: Yanchen Liu

The Medieval Colloquium’s next workshop will be held Tuesday, March 21 at 5pm, again in 102 Sulzberger Annex (Barnard campus). The entrance, labelled the Admissions Visitor Center, faces the south side of Barnard Hall; turn right as you enter and you will find the room on your left.

Our presenter for this week is Yanchen Liu (Religion), who is preparing a guest lecture on high medieval scholasticism/theology for an undergraduate class in History of Christianity. Yanchen will give a brief presentation on what he plans to teach, followed by a discussion on issues of pedagogy. We welcome both those interested in the subject matter and those who wish to share insights on teaching medieval materials in the undergraduate classroom.
