On Thursday, April 21, from 6-7pm (followed by a reception) in 620 Dodge Hall, Elizabeth del Alamo, Professor of Art History at Montclair State University, will speak in our Medieval and Renaissance Lives Series. In this series, alumni of Columbia and Barnard discuss in an informal setting their academic and professional trajectories, as well as their current work.
Professor del Alamo holds a PhD in Art History from Columbia. She is the author of Palace of the Mind: The Cloister of Silos and Spanish Sculpture in the Twelfth Century (Brepols, 2012), and she has a special interest in medieval Spain, monasticism, the funerary arts, and audience reception. We look forward to welcoming Professor del Alamo to our series next Thursday.
Refreshments will be served — please join us!
