Introduction to Digital Tools for Research and the Classroom: Examples from the Italian Romance Epic
Wednesday, February 24, 5:00-6:00.
501 Hamilton Hall
Columbia University Morningside campus
“This talk will introduce participants to open access digital humanities tools which can support a variety of research projects as well as be integrated into classroom assignments. I will give examples of some existing DH projects and talk about the tools that went into creating them. Using examples from the Italian Romance Epic I will discuss ways that students can use these tools to create final projects. We will also explore techniques to create data visualizations which can enhance the way we present our scholarly research.”
