Wednesday, October 21, 5:30pm: First Panel on the Fourth Lateran Council of 1215
First of two special events that will commemorate the 800th anniversary of the Fourth Lateran Council of 1215. The October and November meetings of the seminar will consist of panel discussions, where three speakers will present briefly on some aspect of the council, its origins, and its broader significance, followed by general discussion.
As usual, all of the meetings will be held at Faculty House on Columbia’s campus. Additional details will follow in due course, and eventually will be available on the seminar website: http://universityseminars.columbia.edu/seminars/medieval-studies/
