The Department of English and Comparative Literature’s Early Modern Seminar is delighted to welcome
BENEDICT ROBINSON (SUNY Stonybrook) who will be giving a talk on “Resentment” this Thursday, November 29, at 6:00 PM in 612 Philosophy Hall.
Benedict Robinson is Associate Professor of English at SUNY-Stony Book. He is the author of *Islam and Early Modern English Literature: The Politics of Romance from Spenser to Milton* (Palgrave, 2007), and editor, with Zachary Lesser, of *Textual Conversations in the Renaissance: Ethics, Authors, Technologies* (Ashgate, 2006). He is currently working on a book, tentatively entitled *Feeling Words: An Early Modern Philology of the Affections*.
