Please join us on Friday, February 14th, for CHARTAE HORATIANAE, a workshop focusing on the rich collection of printed editions of Horace in Princeton’s Firestone Library. No prior knowledge of print culture necessary. We will begin at 10:00 and end at 3:30. Lunch will be served.
Our work will be guided by Professors Anthony Grafton (Princeton) and Ariane Schwartz (Dartmouth), and is being convened by Professor Joseph Farrell (Penn) and Aaron Kachuck (Princeton). The Workshop will involve guided tours through representative books, and collective work on select texts. CHARTAE HORATIANAE will be followed by a similar event in the Free Library (Philadelphia), and is an expansion of Princeton’s Classical Literature Workshop.
SPACE IS LIMITED: please RSVP to [email protected]. We are grateful to the Council of the Humanities and the Department of Classics for continued support (http://humanities.princeton.edu/events/faculty-seminars).
