The Department of Italian at Columbia University, the Department of French at New York University, and The Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University are excited to present Armamaxa Teatro’s Orlando: Furiosamente Rotolando. These are episodes inspired by Ludovico Ariosto’s Orlando furioso, performed by Enrico Messina.

The performance is free and open to the public. Passages from Boiardo’s Orlando innamorato will be performed in English by Victoria Giler, Katrina Goldowsky-Dill, and Stephen Chacon, all students from Professor Evelyn Birge (Timmie) Vitz’s course “Acting Medieval Literature” at New York University.

There are two performance times: Wednesday, September 30 at 6pm, and Thursday, Oct 1 at 6pm, both taking place at the Italian Academy’s Teatro.
