The 5th Annual Medieval Manuscript Workshop, presented by the NYU Medieval and Renaissance Center and the Medieval Forum, will take place on Friday, October 9 at 244 Greene Street, Room 106. The topic will be “Three Faiths: The Making of Medieval Holy Books.”
The event will be an all-day manuscript extravaganza beginning with a morning hands-on workshop on the making of medieval books for registered participants only and ending with a panel of guest speakers who specialize in one of the Abrahamic religions and its medieval material culture.
Registration is now open. It closes at 5pm September 30. $15 (you keep your materials). Space is limited; so please register early.
The session for registered participants will take place from 9:30am-2pm, and another session, from 6pm-8pm, will be open to the public.
