Prof. Nicoletta Maraschio, professor of Italian Linguistics at the University of Florence, and current President of the Accademia della Crusca, will be giving a talk on “New Findings on the Vocabolario degli Accademici della Crusca”, in the Segal Theater at the CUNY Graduate Center (365 Fifth Avenue), on February 15 (5 – 7 pm). A small reception will follow in room 5414.

The lecture, featuring one of the foremost authorities in the History of the Italian Language, will be an important opportunity to learn more about the contribution of the Vocabolario to the evolution of Italian.
