We are delighted to extend an offer to your students for our upcoming production of David Lang’s latest work love fail performed by legendary early music ensemble Anonymous 4.

Drawing from a similar sound world to Lang’s Pulitzer Prize-winning The Little Match Girl Passionlove fail marries evocative new music with timeless storytelling. From a stunning range of texts—including medieval courtly love narratives, excerpts from Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde, writings by Lang, and short stories by MacArthur Fellow Lydia Davis—Lang’s work distills a single, universal tale about desire’s discontent, brought to life by one of the premiere vocal ensembles of our time.

For video, articles, and more visit BAM.org/lovefail, and click here for a New York Times article on the piece.

$10 tickets are available for December 6—8 at 7:30pm (Offer available to students 29 & under with a valid ID. Tickets can be purchased at the BAM box office no earlier than 90 minutes prior to the performance. There is a limit of two tickets per purchase.)

This performance will be hosted at the BAM Harvey Theater at 651 Fulton St. in Downtown Brooklyn, one block from Atlantic Terminal.
