Dr. Lynn M. Michalopoulos’s Abstract Featured in UNAIDS Science Now

Dr. Michalopoulos’s abstract of the article, A systematic review of HIV risk behaviors and trauma among forced and unforced migrant populations from low and middle-income countries: state of the literature and future directions in AIDS Behav. 2016, has been chosen by UNAIDS Science now as part of the third issue of HIV this month (2016).

Dr. Michalopoulos leads the SIG Global Health and Mental Health Unit (GHMH), which aims to promote research, training and education activities related to health and mental health globally. Through conferences, research projects and collaborations with global partners, GHMH works with researchers, faculty and students to promote activities that will address the global burden of mental health, substance use and communicable diseases (e.g., HIV) among vulnerable populations.
