Alfred Lee Loomis’s memoir listing a paper that Loomis published with E. Newton Harvey and Ethel Browne Harvey in 1928. The paper was entitled “Further observations on the effect of high frequency sound waves on living matter.” It was published in the. Biological Bulletin Vol.  55, pages 459-69. Interestingly, Alfred Lee Loomis’s son William Farnsworth (Farnie) Loomis was Howard Lenhoff’s postdoctoral advisor. Farnie was the one who introduced Howard to research with Hydra.
