Call for Abstracts: CULC 20

Have a linguistics research project to share? Consider submitting an abstract to the 20th Annual Cornell Undergraduate Linguistics Colloquium (CULC 20).

Showcasing your work at an undergraduate conference is one of the best ways to grow as a linguist – if you’ve completed a squib, research paper, or independent research project, send in an abstract. It’s a great opportunity to share your research, strengthen your presentation skills, and meet fellow linguists from a range of schools.

Call for Abstracts — 20th Annual Cornell Undergraduate Linguistics Colloquium (CULC 20)

April 25-26, 2026, Cornell University

 

We are the Undergraduates in Linguistics at Cornell University, and we are excited to announce the 20th Annual Cornell Undergraduate Linguistics Colloquium (CULC 20). We warmly invite undergraduate researchers in linguistics to present their work at our conference! Here is the call for abstracts:

 

CULC 20 Call for Abstracts  (April 25-26 @Cornell University)

CULC is a conference run by undergraduate students highlighting undergraduate research. Undergraduates in Linguistics (Underlings) at Cornell University is now accepting abstracts for the 20th Annual Cornell Undergraduate Linguistics Colloquium. We are looking for undergraduate presenters from any university to submit their abstracts for a 20-minute oral presentation or poster presentation.

 

Abstract submission guidelines:

The abstract should be no more than 500 words (excluding citations) in PDF format and completely anonymous (do not include your name or affiliation in the file name and file name). Please submit the PDF to [email protected].
Deadline: February 21st, 2026, 11:59PM EST
