During Master’s:
This is my Master’s Thesis, which is titled: “Inference Studies on 1D Random Sequential Adsorption with Periodic Boundary Conditions ” for which I was awarded the “Best Master’s Thesis” prize at NYU Courant (Jan 2016): award page
Here is a little combination of modeling, stochastic methods, data analysis, geometric algorithms, and some analytical results:
I was a participant in a team that won 3rd place in the Oncology Hackathon with Novartis in Oct. 2020, where we developed models to predict whether a breast cancer patient would turn metastatic: award.
My PhD thesis was on developing special numerical methods called cut cell methods to make sea barrier simulations faster: GSAS_THESIS_ryoo
My education is:
