Mission

Our group has four principal aims:

  1. To critically explore the merits and limits of the E-Cog paradigm by discussing the wide variety of interdisciplinary literature that comprises the research program.
  2. To build meaningful bridges between scholars in the humanities and cognitive sciences in order to foster a better historically and culturally situated view of E-Cog.
  3. To hold monthly meetings to discuss literature, and host prominent scholars in the field.
  4. To host special events, including special panels and workshop events with practitioners of highly skilled embodied practices like music, dance, and weaving.
