Mission
Our group has four principal aims:
- To critically explore the merits and limits of the E-Cog paradigm by discussing the wide variety of interdisciplinary literature that comprises the research program.
- To build meaningful bridges between scholars in the humanities and cognitive sciences in order to foster a better historically and culturally situated view of E-Cog.
- To hold monthly meetings to discuss literature, and host prominent scholars in the field.
- To host special events, including special panels and workshop events with practitioners of highly skilled embodied practices like music, dance, and weaving.
