When Something Isn’t Adding Up

Sometimes a situation appears straightforward, yet efforts to resolve it only make it more complicated.

We help identify what may be missing.

Through independent research and analysis, we examine the historical, cultural, ethical, and other contextual factors that may be influencing how a situation is being understood—and why it may be escalating.

The goal is simple: give decision-makers and their advisors a fuller picture so they have more informed options for resolving the matter, preferably before it becomes more costly or adversarial.

We do not replace legal counsel or take sides. We provide the perspective that may be missing.

About

Through an independent agency he directs, Dr. Ali Moughania (Ph.D., Columbia University) provides organizations and decision‑makers with specialized research, analysis, and strategic advisory support grounded in intellectual history and applied ethics. His work helps institutions understand how misrepresentation, exclusion, and historically rooted community impact shape stakeholder perception, reputational risk, and early‑stage settlement outcomes.

High-stakes decisions require perspectives you may not have. We bring perspectives from across worlds of expertise and experience. The agency clarifies the historical and cultural dimensions that often determine how issues escalate. This insight can mitigate exposure and support pre‑litigation settlement by providing the contextual groundwork that legal teams are not typically specialized in addressing themselves.

The agency also offers specialized research, targeted analysis, and referrals in adjacent fields when engagements require expanded resources or legal collaboration. For agency services: [email protected] .
