About Zeil Rosenberg
Zeil Rosenberg, MD is Executive Vice President, Medical at Tonix Pharmaceuticals where he oversee clinical development of their infectious disease portfolio, including vaccines against mpox and smallpox. . Previous to this he was Executive Director and Therapeutic Head -Vaccines (AES) at PPD, a global clinical research company, now part of Thermo Fisher. Prior to that he was Vice President for Medical Affairs at Admera Health, an advanced molecular diagnostic company specializing in precision medicine, cancer diagnostics and pharmacogenomics. He is additionally Co-Founder of Filament BioSolutions, a company developing medical and functional foods that address diseases with nutritional deficiencies.
In previous vaccine industry leadership positions, Dr Rosenberg drove the worldwide commercial scale–up of specialized vaccine injection devices needed to prevent HIV/AIDS transmission and, working with collaboratively with UNICEF, championed a successful global private-public partnership to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.
Trained at Stanford, UCSF, Cornell and Columbia Dr. Rosenberg is a Fellow of the American College of Preventive Medicine, Specialty Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine. He served as Adjunct Faculty at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health (1992-2017) where he advised start-up companies with high-impact public health potential.
