Mentoring and Research Training

Mentoring has been one of the most rewarding parts of my academic work. I aim to help trainees develop their own methodological direction while learning how to work in statistics, machine learning, and substantive biomedical research. I have advised 19 doctoral students (see Team Members) and have also mentored postdoctoral fellows and junior faculty, including NIH K awardees.
