SIG employs social and behavioral science to address the public health issues of HIV and co-occurring problems such as substance abuse, intimate partner violence, and trauma. SIG offers training to research scientists, faculty, and practitioners in the United States and abroad on the science of intervention research in global health. SIG works to develop effective intervention models and disseminate them to local, national, and international communities.
