Getting Good Data

unnamed (5)

Recently, the University alumni relations and research teams hosted the first-ever “ALMA hackathon” — an afternoon devoted to entering data in Athena. Over lunch, 18 staff members updated 280 events.

Alumni Lifetime Metrics Analysis — what we all know as ALMA — is only as good as the information we put into Athena. Entering data from events, committee work, and other activities is the only way to ensure that ALMA accurately reflects alumni engagement.

Leading up to the ALMA 2.0 launch early next year — more on that soon! — a second ALMA hackathon will be held Friday, December 12 from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Alumni Center’s Schapiro Room. Lunch will be provided. If you’d like to attend, RSVP to Vivian Johnson at [email protected].
