Simon Ogundare (CC ‘24) is from Nigeria, England, and New York, and is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior. He trained for Nightline in his freshman year, and is grateful to have been able to contribute to its mission as a peer listener, and be part of a deeply caring community. As Director, he is excited about promoting Nightline as a resource across the Barnard/Columbia community. Outside of his involvement in Nightline, Simon is involved in research projects studying stress disorders and the evolution of chronic pain disorders, in line with his dream to pursue training as a physician-scientist. Off campus, you’ll often find Simon playing the saxophone, or fiddling with his headphones in Riverside Park!
