This June Maria, Evie, Danielle, and Max traveled to Santa Barbara, CA for the Ecology and Evolution of Infectious Disease (EEID) meeting. Maria gave a talk presenting work on modeling deer as a “missing” dilution host for Borrelia burgdorferi on Block Island, Rhode Island. Evie, Danielle and Max presented posters. Southern California was a great setting for discussing the latest research in disease ecology!
Great ideas on #nonlinearity at #EEID2017 from Lyme & deer density by Diuk-Wasser to transmission & temperature by @morde + @MartaShocket pic.twitter.com/BGvNRIQmYz
